This soulful Shabbat will remind us of the Jewish commitment to mend the world in accordance with God’s will through our own behavior, attitude, and action. Tikkun olam (repairing the world) is ultimately the beautiful idea that we – as human beings – are a critical part of the unfolding of God’s creation to make the world a better place.
